Why is it called GLAMPING?

glamp·ing | \ ˈglam-piŋ \

Merriam-Webster defines glamping as outdoor camping with amenities and comforts (such as beds, electricity) not usually used when camping. We at Tented Adventures went one step further and added locally inspired food prepared by our camp hosts under the guidance of our group chef, guided safaris in purpose built-safari vehicles and awesome mountain biking and hiking trails.

We also made sure our tents are equipped with hotel grade beds (3/4 size beds and can convert to a king size bed), hotel grade linen, electric blankets for the cold nights, standing fans for the warm days, bedside lamps, ample charge points for your electric devices and large windows for a cool breeze.

Our guides and camp hosts are all onsite and ensure your needs are catered for, they will welcome you on arrival, assist you with the check in process and show you to your tent. Your safari guides will meet you before your game drives and introduce you to the region, share a few stories and show you to the vehicle.

On return from your afternoon safari you are offered a authentic safari sundowner - Gin and Tonic - and shown to your table.

After dinner all are seated around the fire pit and share their daily adventures.

Tented Adventures is Glamping at its best.
